Keratinous cysts of 1-3 mm in diameter which occurs due to the obstruction of an eccrine sweat duct/hair follicle.
Classification
Primary milia
Appear spontaneously
Secondary milia
Following trauma, use of topical/systemic drugs, in renal transplant patient and with inflammatory skin diseases
Management
Surgical excision:
Nick the skin with a #11 surgical blade and then use a comedone extractor to press the cyst out
