Clinical features
- Night pains (d/t prostaglandin E2)
Diagnosis
CT-scan:
- Central nidus: Meshwork of blood vessels, osteoblasts, osteoclasts, woven bone
- Central nidus < 2 cm (osteoid osteoma) & > 2cm (osteoblastoma)
- Sclerosis (around central nidus): Periosteal reaction
Management
- NSAIDs
- Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
