Pathophysiology
Characterised by multiple superficial (non-ulcerating) erosions.

Clinical features
- Painless upper GI bleed
Diagnosis
- Tissue biopsy:
- Wedge-shaped mucosal haemorrhages with coagulation necrosis of superficial mucosal cells.
